    Hi EJL;
    Looking at your personal profile, I see you're 67 yrs old.
    Don't you think that that's just a bit too old to be fishin ????
    Just kiddin with ya.
    I have never fished the Harris chain, but "CenterDriver" and a couple other older kids fish over that way. I would think they'd help out.
    We're having our (Fla, Crappie.com/Central Fla) "first" ever Slabfest get together=(tournement/picnic) this coming Sat at the Marina located on the south shore of Lake Monroe=Sanford Fl.) Look it up.....
    Sure would enjoy having you in attendance, we are all just a bunch on internet fishing junkies that happened to find each other on Crappie.com., and, now you too have joined our ranks.
    Ain't none of us "pro's" we all just get out there and try to one-up each other for braggin rights, etc.....
    I can tell you that around this area, we have just had the Jan full moon, which, according to what I've learned and been told, signifies that the crappie that have been schooling out in the lakes in pre-spawn attitude, shall now begin their migration into the rivers to build their nests, protect those nests, and lay/fertilize their eggs in those nests for the next two months (Spawn).
    What that says to you, is that you'll possibly have you're best luck catching these fish near the shore line. specifically, right at the water's edge on down.
    So, keep in mind, I have been wrong on several occasions, and even embarrassed by real pro's that set me straight occasionally.
    However, send me $5.00 and I promise not to lie to you, too much
    C'mon over and join us this coming Sat !

    Will talk to him in the morning to see if he wants to venture on over with me saturday. He lives in the same park as I do. Being from Decatur, he is prolly more use to this cold than I am anyway. As far as the fishing goes, no one I have talked to are doing that much good. May take a week for things to settle down again now since this front is coming through. EJL, we will get out and will show you some of my spots. Just remember, if you fall overboard behind Tom's, just stand up.
