I'll vouch for Glenn. He don't mind telling where they're at and what they're biting. I saw him at the ramp Saturday and he had a box of nice ones.
I had been doing pretty good at the pond myself and cleaning the slabs in my back yard. My neighbor noticed and asked if I would take him my next trip. So I took him last Saturday and of course I couldn't find the fish and only caught 6. Glenn was kind enough to give my neighbor 6 more so he would have a good mess. For size and consistency the pond is hard to beat. It's just so dang far and the last six miles will rattle your bones and the dust will choke you to death.
Thanks Danny. I actually sent them to your Web Site Email. Don't bother if you do get them. I'm not posting anymore pictures, too much of a pain in the ass.
Rusty, I know what you mean by the last 6 miles. When I turn in I make sure that I'm far back from any vehicles I can see in front of me. Then I do 50-55 MPH. This keeps me in front of the dust I'm making and the speed actually smooths the road out pretty good. If I get behind someone driving slow and I can't pass them, I just stop for 5-6 minutes.
Hey Glenn, Thanks for the info. I've been fishin up north a bit. Steinhatchee ( Speck ) fishin. Speckled Trout that is.... Keep up the good work at the stick marsh. I live close (palm bay) and would like to meet up with ya down there sometime. I'm just starting to learn how to speck fish and could use any help. Thanks!![]()
