    Default Lake Monroe-Sat-10th

Well, as much as I'm just dying ! ! ! to tell you guys how we did today ! !
I have been sworn to secrecy by Chucker ! !
Let me start at the beginning......
Had a fishing trip planned for this morning with another fellow I've been fishing with lately, come time to meet up this mornin, I find he's still in bed, there goes another fishing partner!
So, head to the river by myself, launch, head on out, is beautiful at crack of dawn, little bit of fog, brisk air, slick water, can't beat it !
Then I get one of them things, what do they call it, an epithiny, sompin like that ? Since I'm fishin next weekend with Chucker and Kevin, I wonder if they're available this time of day to go fishin ?????
I just can't believe I could hook up with anyone this time of mornin to go fishin, etc...
But, I think I'll just try it, make the call, and, sure enough, these guys were just sittin around at 6:30am doin nothin !
Made immediate plans to meet up at BoatClub08 and just get our pre-tourney fishin in, everything is coming together ! ! ! ! ! !
I make the run from where I put in (Hwy#46-north end of Jessup) on to BoatClub08's place. Walk in and meet "Chuck"
Chuck, was nice meeting you, was going to shake hands but one thing or another got in the way, etc...
And Chuck, seein as though you seen our catch, we respectfully ask that you would honor our code of secrecy as to how many fish we got today, or where we went to get all of em, etc...........
And for all those interested, I can only release a smidgen of info that I was finally able to talk Chucker into, just for the guys on the forum.
I mean to tell ya, this guy is a super secretive type fellow (ex-Super Military).
But, anyway, I can proudly show you guys "ONE" of our fish.
And I have to reveal, Chucker did indeed catch the most fish
    We, of our team are "READY" for the Tourney ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

This fish here was 14 in, weighed 1lb 11oz
(and there's bunches more ) Yeah, out in the lake, yeah, that's where we got em ! ! ! !

Have a nice day everybody !
    See ya'll next Sat.......

    Nice looking catch,
BUT, you are going to have to do better than that to beat what I got in my lie well.
I hope that you have a lot of lead in that tackle box in the bow of the boat. It looks like it could take a spill, then we all would have to chip in and give you a few of our used jigs.:D:D

Gone fish. Everyone catches a blind one once in a while. I assume you have issued a challenge. Challenge taken. I'll be on the lake thursday afternoon. The young man's smile in the picture says it all. Take all kids fishing.

I have not commented of this Phantom, because we have got the winning team here. If I tell them too much, I would have to kill them. See, our secret weapon is the guy that has the big smile on his face. Thats the real fisherman.

Wife and I went Saturday morning from about 7:00 to Noon. Caught a catfish right off and then drifted around for the rest of the morning and then had to go out to dinner to get something to eat. Must have been Phantom I saw running back and forth across the lake! A couple guys at the dock said their day wasn't so good either - but we were all fishing with jigs - guess I'll have to breakdown and spend good money for minnows on Saturday.

    Looking forward to Saturday!

Our boys need to pre-fish Lake Monroe before Sat 17th, because we are going to have a SLABFEST and they are going to spot all of the crappie for the rest of us that don't fish the lake on a regular basis.:D:D
