    OK, Alrighty now....
Did so well the other day, thought I'd try it again this morning.
Swung by and picked up my fishin buddy and proceeded to the killin grounds.
Was a bit foggy, lifted a bit, then came back and stayed for quite a few hours.

I love fishing in the fog, is cool and eerie.
We started pullin em in as soon as we got to the spot, and just kept gettin em. We'd have a little slack time then pick up a couple more, then another.
Wound up having best luck on Chartruse jigs tipped with minnows.
After all was said and done,
We had a total of 35 fish.

Only got three or four really nice slabs, the rest were mediums, and we threw back probably four dinks.
    Water temp was 67 deg.

Finally, we caught enough to hold our heads up high when we hit the dock.
And,fishin buddy says we ought to try Harney but, I just can't see it. When we go by Harney on the way back home we see lots of trucks/boat trailers, but really don't know how they're doing.
On the way back we stopped in to the BoatClub place at the marina and spoke with a young fellow there, then headed on out, etc...
    Have a nice day everybody,
    I'm a happy camper..........

    Default Good Job Danny

That's a nice mess of specks Danny. I knew you would start posting them pics sooner or later. It was 70 here yesterday and 39 today. I'll see what I can do to send you some colder temps...Didn't make it to T-ville. Wife's back operation only helped her 50-50 and couldn't make the 15 hr drive. What happened to Two Jigging John? He retired from fishing? Get those southern pro hot grubs from him and try them when you troll. Great action and the crappie up this way tear them up. Take care and keep on posting them pictures of your specks. I'll just keep shoveling ice and snow up here.

Nice bunch of fish! Was going to go on Saturday but relatives in town. Going out on Tuesday so now if you'll just let us know where that "spot" is...!
One thing I have noticed is that the fish over the past couple of trips seem to be smaller than back in October and early November - maybe just my bad eyesight.

Yes, I was somewhat surprised that, out of all of those fish, we only got three really good sized slabs.

Thats a nice mess of fish! The medium size ones still taste the same as the big ones. Maybe Ill make it out once more before I'll be moving. Was going to try and fish Christmas Eve or maybe this coming weekend.
