Thumbs up Sunday's slabs - Central FL

After realigning my fishing direction from salt to fresh water this month after attending the Talquin Slabfest(first visit to Talquin) that Jamie's team made happen recently, I slow trolled a local lake in my region. Using six rods from 6' to 14' with 4 lb. mono. and lip-hooked minnows with 1/32 oz. jigs in chartreuse or pink, the following picture shows how deadly lure presentation can be. Hey Chuck, hope you're gettin some slabs up in Indy, maybe see you guys at Talquin from Christmas on! Merry Christmas to all the viewers of Crappie.com(most resourceful fishing info. available). View my picture at the "post your pix from cell phone thread".

Ha, ha. The ground is covered with 1/2" of ice. Accidents every where you look. I scrapped 1/2" of ice off the care before going to the office. I told my brother that I am suppose to be in FL fishing, not consulting.

    Hey, what pictures?

I am coming back to FL on the 22nd and going to Talquin (24 - 31st). Meeting TNT and Jamie and others. Excuse me if I forget names. Problem with age.

At 70, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Names like Speck/tater, #1 SuS-speck, TNT, etc. and place a face and proper name to an individual. Thats not all, look at the names for the jigs. You guys make it hard for us old dogs.

    Have a great holiday.
