Thread: Slabfest in central Florida

Great idea, probably take some doing to get it done that quick, also thought there would be a better response. Am kind of jealous of the Georgia guys they are about to have a blast and wish them all well.--shu

Won't be in FL. till Jan 1. My first time for Fl. fishing. I would be interested in "slabfest". It would be a way for me to pick some brains.

I am flexible, you name the time and place. If you have room in your boat, I am more than willing to pay for gas, sup-plies etc. Might even buy lunch. I love to crappie fish but since I have only lived here 3 yrs I am still learning the how-to of florida speck fishing.

You are welcome to come fish with us any time Falcon Smity started this and its been great set your date and keep talking it up we always make eating part of it that'll bring um in.

I'm pretty new to the forum but have read for awhile. I'd be interested and would like to get out and see how to catch em up. Always willing to be learnt...Let me know when and where. I typically fish Blue Cypress down in Indian River.

Big ass crappie and bass in that lake. I love that place.
We also do well for crappie on Mineola/Minnehaha chains and Little Harris.
