Default Went out for a ride today.

Boat has been in the water for 2 weeks and not moved....got most all the honey doos done. so took a ride. Went out to some deeper water (since no one is getting any in the pads) and looked around some 17-20' of water. Found a few ranging from 5-9' suspended. Did not try to fish them since the wind was howling about 25mph and nice white all over. Did not see what I would think was worth going after. A few here and there. May be worth a drift or 2 when the wind dies, but now the front is getting here. What to do, what to do. Will prolly wait till the wife hits her next long streak of days off to tackle them, but at least know they are in deeper water.

P.S. Hey Shu. When ya want to get together. Give a holler a day or 2 before your ready so I can be too. Same can be said to that Phantom charactor too.

    Mornin Dusty;
My son and I were going to fish lake Harney yesterday, Accu-weather website predicted 14 mph winds, so we decided to take the truck up to Oak Hill to a little spot I sometimes bank fish, but, that place was a bust.
Took Maytown rd on across and hooked downward to the northeast corner of Harney where there are some culverts and looked real good with this high water but, was a bust.
Went on over to Osteen, on south to Hwy #46, and wound up back in Titusville at Fox lake. Hooked two, lost two, net gain = zero.
But, was good getting out and around, especially with the kid, don't see him too often.
Waiting on this wind to go away.
Still haven't gone back to work, starting to think I'm going to have to get off my duff and go find a job rather than wait for the union to call, etc.
OK, hopefully with this cool front the season is on full speed for the rest of the year, etc.
    Have a nice day,
    Danny

    Oh Yeah !
    Forgot to post the pics.
Here's a pic of a few trees and Lake Harney in the back.
You see the waterline where it came up to.

And here's a pic of me on the road showing waterline.

And one more of the road and the faint waterline along the trees
    going down the road.

That was some pics. You would have had your southern posterior damp if you would have been there when the water was up huh?
Can't imagine. Just 30 miles east of here and they have/had too much water, and here we are in the Harris chain needing it bad.
Will give a holler sometime soon to go wet a line. Needing to get some fresh fish in the pan.
