!! Absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous
that maintained < 6" waves throughout my day. With 74° w/t, I was anticipating the beginning of the inshore migration. Armed w/5 recreational(commercial-sized) crab pots, I positioned them haphazardly throughout the 5 mile river. Seven different species fell victim to my artificial-only light tackle. My newest rod, Berkley 2-piece, 7' u/l was a blast, easily handling my fish-o-the-day...a feisty 20" (fork of tail)! Although all of my trout failed the minimum 15" size limit, my anticipation was fueled throughout the day. With ZERO commercial pots in water(post-Idalia), my crustacean hopes were Boiling high(pun intended). My take home fish included my fav = 2 puffer fish(blowfish). All

were counted(36males) and included some Jumbo-mumbos!
