Ive always tried to do my wing shooting while they are still in the ground.
Especially Grouse.
Its not that they fly all that fast, but they are very good at weaving around trees.
I found however that they like being on or along dirt roads on rainy days.
I even bought the Jeep Rubicon for that reason. lol
But its not a good idea to aim for the head, especially with a rimfire.
