I have not caught very many Females this year. I might get time to go one afternoon this week..I was gonna try for specks in the pads this morning. I had my boat hooked and ready to go yesterday afternoon...Woke up at 5am..but it was 48 degrees and I have a few Fillets in the freezer..so I just slept in. So maybe some nice specks got a chance to spawn?? Got a call around 8am from a friend that has some nuisance hogs on her property. She has 2 less now and we just ate fresh backstrap.. So no regrets on not fishing on this nice day.

Cool, I have gun, will travel, and like pork too ya know! just sayin', maybe someone needs help with nuisance hogs, lol
