Thread: I remember these

Been a while since I’ve caught any crappie. I left the house with intentions of finding some gills. They had other ideas, I got one. Pulled the boat and went to another place and while I didn’t find any gills, I did find almost a dozen crappie. Starting here at almost ten I didn’t have high hopes but the first fish was a solid one almost twelve inches. Now I had a better attitude. Using one of my Ul rods and a blue ice body I kept getting a fish often enough to keep me there til just after twelve. Four of the fish would have been skillet fare and the rest were short but a welcome distraction. Looking forward to this weekend, hope they cooperate a little better on a full moon.
