Well, you certainly couldnt have picked a better bowling team to bowl with. Ha!Glad youre mending well and have gotten back into fishing again. Just dont fall in the boat back on that shoulder again. Take care and do what they say. Sounds like the worst is behind you now. Keep it that way.

Gee sorry about your Spill. Just in case you need any help getting back to bowling , I owned a bowling center most of my young life and bowled professionally for 4 years in the late 70 's. I taught as well. So if you need any help in that direction I'll be happy to conjure up some of my old skills.

Glad to see you back in action. Glad it wasn’t any worse, and don’t we heal slow. Be careful and enjoy the fish, you did very well this trip. I have to get out this weekend. Went after some sheep’s last weekend and had some success but way too many folks out enjoying.
suggest you have someone else with you when out fishing. I have been with folks who had pre existing issues and saw them go down, repeatedly and reinjure themselves and trying to navigate getting boat back onto trailer could be hard. plus no telling what could happen out on the water.
BTW used to be anchor of my bowling team and pretty good at it with a buck 95 average but when my wife divorced me, it was kinda our thing for years and chucked my ball into lake and havn't graced a lane since and that was 27 years ago. but never did see anyone take a header like what you did, takes some special skill to do that.
HH- Appreciate the sound, logical, precautionary advice(both taken by and from and ol' timer). Coincidentally, it's likely the 50th time I've had that helpful warning. As we "mature" and encounter life's unexpected offerings, hopefully we become smarter, at LEAST because of that! Fortunately, I do pretty well overall, and had experienced a 300 game(#7) immediately before this 3rd game/7th frame debacle. In the Villages's, the bowling center's league-player average age is theoretically around 56 yr. young. I've only returned to bowling 8 years ago(post retirement) after a 32 year hiatus!
Thanks for your sage advice/concern, but as most people that know what makes me tick, it wii slow me down but NOT sideline me in any major alteration. Unfortunately, senior spills happen ALL the time in normal everyday protocol. Personally seen or heard of at least 10 episodes during bowling...look up this verbage please = Inherent danger(just learned of this SINCE my debacle0. Take care, stay as safe as you can, as long as you're able, doing what you love!
