For those of us that choose the reward(personal & public) of being a "Poster"(Only registered members) vs an im"poster"(non-members), I feel that Truth is easier than Lie/deceit or sometimes "silence". Most folks don't like to admit DEFEAT with any outcome(especially the one's requiring "EEP" = EffortExpensePride) Friday's(Lake Monroe) "Zilch-a-thon" is today's TRUE CONFESSION relay. Pontoon Pappy's Pride & Joy was the vessel of choice for the day's STINGY fish-counter, but fortunately AND reliably, Don's persona never fails to help elongate any encountered short-comings(aka Livewell vacancies)
Knowing we had a CEASE FIRE(stop-by-Noon) agenda, we did more re-locating(stick & jab) than he normally does to help locate the active bite. He easily agreed to lesser artillery(9 rods) in case we were subjected to "reading between the lines"! (aka Contending with the aftermath of the Stripers/Mr. Linesides (too many lines + too many times = Not-So-Smart frustration) THREE hours + 15 locations + 1 cellphone "SOS" call to SlimJim + 2 more recommended/qualified locations unfortunately equaled the "Zilch-a-thon" Cooler count!
Oh well, as in Life, we have to take/admit when our Goals fall short,
Sometimes we have to ask for HELP during our "trying" times-

Hopefully, this guy had an influential Audience that helped/advised him, during his "trying times"! = NOT to "follow the bouncing ball/s"!! or help him "Protect his ASSets"!
