Thread: Eight in an hour and a half

Went out and did my usual one pass thing. Zig zagged and stretched the pass to an hour and a half. Had the wind at my back and my speed was a hair up at 1.1-1.3 mph. Water temp was down from 82-84 to 79. Cool for this time of year but down cause of all the rains. Water level was higher too. Cool!

Caught eight fish yes, but only six were crappie, one was a gar. And the other was a huge bluegill that took my rod tip deep into the water. I thought for sure it was a gar. The puppy went nuts on him so I quickly threw him in the water so he had a chance to live. Doh

All released and still swimming, hopefully!
