accomplished yesterday by staying on the west side of Interstate 75 (Withlacoochee River) in search of s/p, ultra-light spinning gear Bream. Using homemade jigs, beetle-spins, +-bobbers/+- redworms, I enjoyed an arcing rod for most of the 8 hr., hot, sun-drenched day. Only 3 redears>9.5", 9 stubborn copper-nose b/g>9", 2 boat defiant Bowfin>4 lb., 1 lm(12") and dozens of feisty stumpknockers>7" still made for another enjoyable day with only a paltry, 18 minute drive home!1/32 Black-body or yellow curly-tail bs's with a slow, steady retrieve is deadly on bream.
Next trip soon will include mainly flyrod use!
