Great end of season club finale @ Lake Monroe in Sanford. Even with the periodic Sun vs light rain volley, the wind played no adverse factor in lure presentation. Lucky enough to catch today's winner @13" 1lb 2.2oz on a fresh, hand-tied chenille 1/32(blue/black/yellow) w/marabou tail. Fortunate enough to have seen the positive value of the Slab Sauce "soak" factor on 4 good fish while single-poling on a not-so-easy bite day. Thanks for the tip Ed as conveyed in your earlier post this week! Slab sauce works! Pontoon Pappy and I also enjoyed some success while long-lining too. Plenty of great food and comraderie was enjoyed by all that made plans to enjoy the 'Corona Crap' efest!Slabfest at Monroe is on.
