Thread: Caught enough to stay amused

Fished for a couple hours this morn. Nothing to write home to mother about. Caught enough to keep things interesting. No real pattern, I just caught one here one there. I did try many different spots and depths and conditions. Like I said, just one here, one there...


Beautiful morning.


Nothing huge.


Even a baby feesh or two...


But there was one pattern, most every fish I caught was on this color bunny butt (the silver one pictured above). Very strange. I had 6 rods out with double rigs, so there were 12 baits in the water. 2 of the 12 were this color bunny butt, and they seemed to have caught 90% of the fish. Of course they were doused with slabsauce, but so were the others. I think to total I caught was ten maybe 11 fish. Two of those were bass. One bass was a nice fighter, maybe 2lbs. and two of the crappie were nice, maybe 11-12 inches. The others were all small.

And I also knocked into one of my rods, and lost it over the side of the boat. Luckily I was able to grab my 14ft BnM rod, and snag the line, and I got it back, yay. So, all in all, not a bad morning at all. Just thought I'd share. Good luck out there.
