One of the many things in my life that’s overdue is Camryn and I getting out to see about some fish. Spent the night with us and up early today with the mandatory Dunkin stop. Pitchin and shooting jigs was the plan and it worked fine. The wind played a big part in our frustration after 9 o’clock but we got along fine. First 3 fish went in the cooler, one being the star of the day at 14 1/2�. Quite a treat on little stuff. I know we had 30 shorts and a few squeakers that got a pass and I tied more leaders on than any recent trip. Only took 4 home but it was really all I wanted, tomorrow’s dinner. Took a boat ride to say hi to some friends on the local beach and took Cam to a tree swing she wanted to enjoy a little. A break from the every trip routine. Done and home before noon, dropped her back off with her mom and went and got my new tires put on the boat trailer. A productive day but I did miss my nap. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for coming along, hope to see you soon, maybe on the water. Until then....... Skeet
