Thread: I Can Do This

This retirement thing. If it’s like me on vacation, I can do this. Had to sneak back out today, and I had to make a stop at the boat mechanic. Didn’t put in til it was after 8 and the bite was slow. I got about and hour of good activity before it got slow and I felt like movin on. The fish in the pic were about a third of today’s catch. The Warmouth was chunky and I wanted to do a side by side comparison to a bluegill, which I already had on ice. Cutest little fillet ever, and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely different, but put em side by side and I couldn’t tell the gill from it. All good from water to ice to knife to fryer. Doesn’t get any better. The hush puppies and gill were on the one plate while I was cooking, hard to leave em alone. Hope y’all had a good day, mine wasn’t bad. Also look forward to seeing you soon on the water, til then...
