Anyone can go and catch a cooler full of big, sloppy, slimy ol fish, but it takes refined skill to boat two beauties like this on two consecutive casts.

It was a kind of non plus day. Went back to some of my old haunts to find vacancy signs hangin everywhere. Did manage one very good Warmouth that rode the live cooler well for a few hours before he was relocated. 3 LMB about 14” also came to visit and played very nice so they also got a pass today. The birds were there, and the lizards were sunning on a few banks, and a few Crappie showed their face, but only one would have crossed the legal mark. Wind picked up about 10 and made control a bear, then a mud boat came blowing into the area I was in, on plane, so I took that as an omen for the rest of the day and took my marbles and went home. Took my Queen to the barbecue place for her Valentines dinner out, and she got shrimp. Go figure. She’s been sick most of the week and I was glad just to be able to get her out, don’t care if she would have had oatmeal. Hope to see you out on the water catching more fish than me one day soon, til then........Skeet
