I have used it in 6lb....I thought it was okay. But for casting on spinning reels i thought the memory was a little too much and it did not fish as easy as I like.

I always seem to go back to Trilene easy cast and I always use the green color.

If I am fishing shallow in the green tinted lakes we have around here I always catch more fish on it then hi-viz . And I am not trying to start and argument about I'm stating what I have found.

Fishing deeper I don't think it makes much difference. I don't pay much attention what I use on a long pole fishing deeper.

However...if it's pretty clear and the fish are tentative 6lb but especially 4lb green mono line will make them get over it usually. I have used it surf fishing, to Ozark streams and lakes , swamps,ponds and lowland reservoirs and highland reservoirs.....and for shy biters it seems to fool them.

really dark green lines do not work as well for me as the translucent green. It seems to get lost in the water where as dark green stands out more.I really think it works about as well as fluorocarbon.
