Yep, the 1st warm day after this week of cold is going to be dynamite! The weekly wind forecast appears blow for a while though![]()

You may have made the right choice, Tim. Sharp drop in water temps = not good fishing, not that you can't catch some but just puts them off the bite. Stable water temps no matter how cold the water, is good. Just my![]()

I think that you made the right call. I went out side this morning and turned around and came back in. I'm not used to this kind of temp any more.
After a nasty bout with pneumonia a few years back when I lived further north, I noticed that if I didn't let my sinuses freeze across the forehead, I didn't get sick and that didn't lead to something worse. My resistance was down for a few years after. My Wife and kids got me a Save Phace mask. Looks like a paintball mask without the vents. Works great and that's what was already on the counter for the morning trip. I would have had a short trip but I did get a lot done around here and we have our hometown parade go by 3 houses away at the end of the street. Friends are coming over and the Chile is already cooking for chasing the chill afterwards. Going to be a good day even without the fish. Hope Y'all had a good day too.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
It was a bit brisk out there this morning, wind made for tough fishing out of my little boat but I probably boated 15-16 fish. Had 6 lucky winners of the go to the house award, should make for a couple of dinners.
It turned out to be a beautiful day and any day on the water beats a day at work.
