Thread: Thanksgiving Break Cast & Blast 2k17

Stef and I took off to the Gulf Friday morning to chase some redheads and do some camping in the Big Bend region. It was really refreshing to have a productive hunt without 15 bozos setting up right on top of us for once. From there we headed back towards North Florida to one of my favorite lakes to meet up with our good friends, Justin and Madison. Justin and I went out for the morning hunt while the ladies slept in and then swapped out or guns for our crappie rods. Well after doing a good bit of traveling for these fish in the last two years and hearing about these epic bites, it finally happened for us! We fished for about 3 hours and caught 30+ fish with 10 being 12" or more in the 1.6 lb to 1.8 lb range. Madison was the big winner with an absolute trophy that was 15" and 2.1 lbs! We packed up and headed home with a full cooler and awesome memories!
