    Default Safe to eat?

A friend of mine read a report stating the Crappie in Okeechobee are contaminated by pesticides and should not be eaten. Is there any merit to the report?

There is a pile of problems in Big O right now on south end. And the discharges to both coasts are killing everything at times and making people sick from breathing air when the Blue/green algae blooms. Dont know though about the pesticides. I guess buyer beware.

I have been eating the fish out of that lake for 20 years. I know quit a few other folks that have been fishing over there for 25 years. I think the food at the grocery store has more pesticides than Okeechobee. Only way to know for sure is get a water test done at a lab.

Well my better half just got on me about me not telling all my issues.
    So here goes.
I had to get glasses this year , vision going at 54 years of age.
I have shoulder pain every day. " Left side only"
Lost my hair a few years back. Not all of it though.
Back starts hurting after holding a jig pole for longer than 6 hours at a time ! So I really cannot say if it is from eating specs out of Okeechobee or just plan ole Old age.
