Another beautiful sunrise, but this gewber was blocking the good shot. It smelled like bacon the whole way out, he must have been cooking breakfast.

We put our lines out and were not catching. Did not realize how shallow it was there. We checked all eith of a lines after a while and 5 of them caught. But what they caught was not what we were after. % of the 8 lines had snails on them. Dang, either I got to speed up or I have to leave less line out. So I found a nice compromise at about 1.3 mph and we started to catch fish.

They were not jumping into the boat. When all was said and done, we caught-n-released 7. All around 11 inches long or so, with the biggest coming in at 12.25 inches. Not terrible at all. It was a great day on the water.

This was wild. They were pulling bobbers with planer boards. Wonder if they were Offshore Tackle Planer boards, because they kinda looked like them.

Then for the long boat ride home. I got lucky today. My motor would not start to load the boat. Sure glad that did not happen while on Woodruff.
