Thread: Didn't finsih the year all SALTY...

Went out to Mosquito Lagoon yesterday for some flats fishing, but as the temp's were cold, so was the bite for my artificial's , only caught 1 under limit speckled trout. Was frustrating seeing 2 schools of Red's with no offerings, but Huntinslabs on the other hand managed a "SLAM" with live bait in another area . Well as driving home I started thinking = hair-braining, since going by Harney & had fresh water tackle box, what would happen if I put some road runners on poles (4) with 10 # braid ? The answer was 1 more 14" speck for 2016 fished 2-5pm with 6 fish to pull on the other end of the line to leave me un-salty & crappierific to end the year !
