    Default Double Nickles

Yep, I was that fool with the trailer when you drove by the boat ramp & thought, that dude must be crazy out in weather like today. Counted on the wind, but not the rain to start the day. Had a plan "B" to pick up minnows & hit the creeks & rivers...however, never needed them. The action was furious right off the bat, had a limit by 9am & was turning all the fish back to the water...already have my 10 bag quota at home, but I started thinkn' this might be a special day & I should get a net pic, so kept a few hostage & relocated to the river...Crappieday knows where the total today was 55, a lot of fryer size, but just fine for what I thought was going to be a bust today. Took a relaxing ride through the creek, pic of big white birds foraging, pic's of calm trolling side of lake & gale force drifting side of lake, which was the majority of the water, thus couldn't get to where the biggin's have been. A clam even got in on the action...pic...& final pic of how deep the fish had swallowed the baits =solid bite. All-in-all just happy a day off work wasn't wasted.....Did I say I was the only fool on the lake

Gutsy to say the least. Man the rain was pounding me early today here in Winter Springs, with winds up 15MPH and gusting. WTG Speck Detector, good report and pic's.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I would say that it was a beautiful day. Glad you connected. I know you'll remember this one.

If the birds had a reddish curved bill they were probably Ibis. Very tolerant of humans nearby usually. The Snowy Egrets are pretty with the wispy feathers on their lower back.

Wow, what a great day you had. Funny how a person never notices the cold, wind or rain when catching fish like crazy!
