I hit Monroe nice and early today. I got there just as the sun was coming up. Only two other trailers were in the lot. I got out on the water and was meet by the super moon.
It wasn't long before it gave way to another beautiful sunrise.
Fishing was a little slow compared to the last few trips, but the rods were bending. The first on was a small keeper. I figured that I could all ways up grade him if I needed to. Then they just kept getting smaller as the morning wore on. Then it happened one of the rods started to bounce. It was a light hit, not that much action at first. But I was able to land this guy .....
it a new record fish for me. it must be the smallest fish I have caught trolling yet.
It was an easy morning on the lake with just enough action to keep it interesting. Plus I got to try out some other lures to see how they worked.
I had a good day ! (and I don't have to clean any fish, I released the one keeper)
