Default FORE! OOPS, I mean Four

Water temps were down to 84 this morning, cloudy, slight ripple on the water early. Fish Finder showing quite a few fish, of course I don't know what they were. I kept spider rigging and was catching a bass now and then, a couple of good ones too!

Then at ten minutes to nine, I caught 4 nice crappies, Bam, Bam ! then it was over. They were between 12 - 13" and will be our dinner tonight!

I fished another hour or so without a bite. Had 5 rods out today and they only wanted one of my jigs tipped with a nibble. Caught these in 10 fow.

Nice looking jig Marv, and a good catch with all things considered. Did you throw a marker or waypoint when you got the first hit? That might have made a difference.

    Thanks Mike,

Not sure what the material is, came with some stuff my wife bought at a yard sale.

    Thanks Tim,

Didn't throw a marker, fish took me by surprise, had been working same area with only bass for about an hour. I was at 10' where the crappies hit and there were only a couple of small areas with that depth, so I was able to retrace where the fish hit.

Something tells me, when the first one hit, it might have excited the others. It sure was fun while it lasted, kinda what keeps us coming back for more!
