    If you mean the big wild shiners, Bitters in Longwood usually has them when available. If you mean Missouri Minnows that most bait shops sell, Highbanks Marina has the largest I have found on a regular basis. Other than that all I know of is the regular shiner in medium or large. Only other option would be catching your own either shad or gold shiners.

    No shiners looking for a minnow that can withstand the water temperature this is one of the best times of the year to catch crappie at night only problem is the minnows die quick. Where is highbanks

    Probably need to aclamate them.... The bait tanks are cold water.... Maybe leave them out long enough so they can get use to warmer water.... The shock will surely kill them.....

    I do that i wait till the water temperature matches the air before I go

    Dad use to drag me out to a small pond with a seine net and we would load on on minnows, Never had any die on us.

    Most bait shops carry minnows at 63 temp.

    YOU have got to bring your water temp up to the Lake temp before putting them in Lake.

    Specknator also agrees with me - Keep the minnow tank bubbler going all the time - good air-ation will help
