Not sure you'll have much luck in the canals, but check with FWC or some bait shops if you can find any. There use to be Two on 27....one about 5 or 6 miles south of 84.... I think it was Seminole Truck stop...... and one to the north at the Palm beach county line. If you make a trip up to south bay there's a great fishing dock/pier...baitshop...beer....snacks etc. They do a lot of night fishing there and we use have some nice catches. Good luck!
