I think i spelled it right. I spent the day mostly in Lake county. 275 miles today and 8 stop. Several times I passed over the Palatlakaha creek, and one time it was opening up onto one of the most picturesque lakes I have seen in quite a while. I believe the place I speak of is between lakes Palatlakaha and Minnehaha on hiway 561. The Clermont chain of lakes I believe. Slab, this sin't far from you and is truly worth a little road trip. Other parts off of hiway 33 was more suited to a smaller metal boat than a large glass boat like mine, but would be a beautiful place to drop the kayak's and a good size lake isn't far either way. Just food for thought for when, like all of us do, we get the urge to see some different surroundings.
