Took an "old timer" longlining for the 1st time yesterday

A guy moved to our community with a few health issues, said he loved to fish!

I invited him to come along with me yesterday, and try for some Crappies. He had never longlined before, and he had a blast!

Well when I dropped him off, he was still smiling, smiled even more when I called him and told him his Crappie filets were ready for him.

I'm thinking my phone will be ringing again.

Pay it forward Brother. My dad taught me that keep what you need, Turn the rest back. He who fishes with you gets the filets even if they are not there for the cleaning.

Pretty much sure you have gained another friend for life.
Sometimes taking someone fishing that hasn't done much - and they are involved with the catch
will be a memory in "your book" for life
