Default Busy weekend, braved the crowds

Spent yesterday installing trolling motor and depth finder. Was not a simple task but not overwhelmingly difficult either. Several trips to Ace Hardware and 1 to marine supply and we got it done. Took her out for a test run and try out the new toys. Gonna take some getting used to remote steer but will get it done. Gonna need several hours to figure everything out on the depthfinder though. All worked well and even caught a few fish. They all went back swimming for the holiday weekend.Name: 0529160844a.jpg

After the getting used to it all you're gonna be likin that new rig. Glad you got off the water before the crazy people showed up. I'm taking the canoe to lake ashby about daylight for a little water time.

Good trip to a new lake Mike. Grand total of one ten inch green fish and one bluegill hit. Back at ramp by 9. I think it will do better during cooler weather. Lots of weed cover. Worth another try sometime when I'm not in the canoe.
