Glad you had a good day Stu. And I agree that the catching is a bonus. When I hunted I always went alone, it seemed, and therefore hunted from the ground. Can't fall far from there. Waiting til daylight and marching into the woods isn't productive. I always knew where I was going and would go in an hour or more before daylight and sit. Some of the most pleasant memories have no Deer in them, just watching the woods come to life and if you stay still, what will walk right up to you. The down side is that trying to explain how exciting that was is difficult at best. Solitude is becoming a rare commodity. Thanks for the post.
