Thread: Skipped work today, The Lake was calling

Took the Day off and hit lake Cypress here in Osceola County, Started at 7, boat back on the trailer at noon, Had a great day, Long lined (all I do). Ended with 27 Speck's, all near the same size, 6 Bluegill, all were 11 inchers, a catfish and lost about an 8 to 10 pound bass that took the jig on one of my 18 inch ice poles, the ice poles are great for long lining, not so great for fighting Bucketmouths, But it was fun for about 3 minutes, then she spit the jig at me and said bye.
