Still trying to figure this crappie fishing out. Have a trip planned for this weekend. It seems like the fish were moving toward the pads a few weeks ago. Now with this cold front coming through, I am thinking they will back off from the pads. If so, would they move to the creek channels, toward creek mouths, or all the way to the main lake and river channel? Or will they continue their spawn in the pads?

I don't think that I would get too far away from the pads or the creek channel. The cooler temps shouldn't affect the water temps. If they aren't in the pads, they will still be traveling the creeks to the pads or back out to the mouth of the creeks. Those that have already spawned will probably be feeding out in the flats between the mouth of the creeks and the river channel.....Good Luck!!

What he said! Water temp should still be up. Last week they back-off because of the 39 degree weather. but could catch them out in 12-18 feet of water in middle of the creeks or mouths. Will be there all next week.
