Albeit a bit on the slow side. These are the weedless heads that I have and have used with differing amounts of success.

The first pic has some heads from wally with a single strand of wire or plastic. These are untrimmed. I would rate these about a 6 on a ten scale. They work but not always and are better than nothing and easy to find.

The others with the toothbrush looking bristles are from Grousefly, a member, and rate highest of all with a 9. As I said earlier the 1/32 sometimes lose grip on the brushguard just because they are so small and not much to work with. Two of each are shown, and one is trimmed as I would use it. Very few missed fish when not used with a float or trolled. When I used them I was dropping them straight down and when I felt the thump and got a good hookset I had a fish that stayed buttoned up all the way to the boat.

The next pic has some weedless underspins made by TimmyTom, also a member and made without lead, zinc I think, and still have good weight. I rate them as good on hookset as the other nylon guard heads. Also work very well the spin has made a difference on days they were picky. The barbell eyes with a single wire also work well and I rate at a 7 or 8. The are made by Bugman, also a member, who does a stellar job on his customer service. He also made the giant 3/8 with a red hook and single wire which are as yet untested but would be my choice on a windy day with some braided line.

I fished standing timber in 50+ feet of water in the winter in TN and lost a jig in record time without some kind of guard and this is about 3 years of accumulation. Sickle hooks make a difference with these as they tend to hook in the bony roof of the mouth which the regular bend doesn't do as well. As always I trim the tip of the barb on the collar when they are too tall or pointy. I hope this answers some of your questions, seems I can't give a short answer to anything. Holler if you have any questions.......Skeet.
