Well you get, wind, rain, hot and cold and more wind. Plus a lot of good memories. Can't believe it's over for another year. We caught crappies from 8" deep to 8' deep all caught casting jigs. The first week we had 12 fish over 2lbs. largest was 2lb.8oz. then the rain and high water put the crimp on our fishing. Only caught a few shad at Harney but did manage two sunshines one morning bowfin and pickerel in the mix too. Fished from Harney to Crescent lake to keep the crew on fish........ Here are a few pics from our adventure

WOW! What a great assortment of photos, thanks so much for sharing, really enjoyed them and your story.![]()
What time is it?IT'S CRAPPIE TIME!
Mike, I really wanted to show you some good shad fishing spots but the high water ruined all of our fishing. As for the weather I like the cold and drizzlie days for fishing but not the 3 or 4 inches of rain we got. Ended up the last day catching green carp in the wind........we were thankful to get em too. The warmer and nicer the weather got the less fish we caught.

6And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
Super Pics Andy, just think how worn out you guys would have been if the crew came back in the heat of November, (12) 2#ers & them hogs from Woody...Sign me up...Looked like plenty of room for 4 to fish out of your friend's boat & I'm sure they enjoyed fishing some different spots...the shad though haven't heard anything this year, strange for sure...all came & left safe SUCCESS !!
crappie down !
good pics Andy. I recognize a few of those areas. As already said, time with friends is priceless. Other years will be better or worse but there will be things that stick out from this trip in each of their minds. They're lucky to have a friend such as you. I don't know anyone who would give their time for a stretch like y'all did. I would say that everyone enjoyed regardless of the weather. Good Job Andy. Hope to see you soon
