Decided to go in the afternoon for a change. Got to the Lake around 1pm, wind changed directions more than a few times, it would be calm for 5-10 minutes then gusts for 5-10 minutes seemed to do this all afternoon. I tried the 5 gallon bucket slow down, didn't seem to help much for me??? Maybe I put too many holes in the bottom??

Guy came by in a Kayak just as I was getting onto lake, said he hadn't caught any Crappies at all. After I got rods in the water, I lucked out and caught 4 in about 10 minutes. As I got closer to the guy in the kayak, I told him to fish deeper, he then started catching also.

Water temps 58, colors same as yesterday, they were hitting just about all colors. One thing was the depth, if you were deeper or shallower by just two feet, you wouldn't find any Crappies.

About 3:30 - 4 PM I think a front came through, It was like the screen on the depth finder was blank, where as before it was showing several fish. I ended up catching mostly 12-13 inchers, brought home 20 a couple small ones that had been gill hooked.
