While fishing in the summer, everything I read was, Man! wait til the water cools off and the temps drop, you'll be catching Crappies by the boat load!

Air temps this morning below 40, water temps 59. Started about 7:30 am, never had a nibble til 9:15. Ended up catching 11 brought home 8, just big enough.

Best part was, I caught most on jigs I have made, and also Shinee Hinee.
