Default To All in Tallahassee/Panhandle Area

Maybe I'm jumping the gun here but i posted this morning and i got 53 views but no replies so far. I am new to this whole internet deal and i'm willing to do my share to contribute to your website. I am also new to crappie fishing, although i have been saltwater fishing and bass fishing my whole life. i've caught 16 or so in the last three days and i'm hooked! but i have so much to learn so i want to do that here on this website. i will be trolling lake talquin in tall. for now , and dock fishing a little too. i look forward to hearing from you and other locals for gen. info on lake talquin. i will find my own honey holes, i'm not expecting that kind of handout. All advice will be appreciated

Good luck with your fishing. I hope you find someone in your area to team with. I'm down in Deltona and fish lake Monroe,so I can't help you about your area. I'm just starting to get active on this site. I am looking forward to learning and meeting new friends

I haven't fished Talquin since October, but usually this time of the year they will be found in the channel. This last cold front that has gone thru will probably slow the bite down some but I'm sure they are close to or in the channel.....Good Luck!!

Probably your best bet for starters is contact Pat Leverette at http://laketalquinlodge.com for the latest that is going on. She will know where the bite is and what they are hitting. Most likely the channel will be the place to fish right now with this cold snap.

Other family members might answer the phone.

Hopefully I will be over there in a couple of weeks myself.

I am planning on hitting Lake Monroe monday morning my self. Will be taking a friend out on my bass tracker. I plan on launching out of enterprise if the ramp is open. I will keep an eye out for you.
