9:53am Thur = now ...
Just getting up from yesterday .....
Me and Chucker didn't do much of anything yesterday, Chuck did land first fish which was 12" ...
Then not much of anything. Went to a couple different areas = NADA.
Finally Speckanator called me up and (knowing we were doing terrible) invited us over to share their hole with them.....
We came and "STILL" they were pulling them in and nothing was biting our baits "SITTING RIGHT THERE BY THEIR BAITS" ! ! ! ! ! !
It was awfull, we (I) felt like begger-waifs asking for handouts from the rich bankers ....
We managed, I recall, three more med ones, then finally everyone decided to call it a day .....
And, as always, these crazy people started offering to give their fish away, and as always, I accepted ........
Chucker said he had a freezer full, so .................
I can proudly state that I went fishing and brought home 29 specks ...........(if anyone asks) .......
As always, appreciate the camaraderie and the fish, good to see someone (Shu) schooling the Speckanator
for a change. The man (Shu) was pulling two in to Speckanator's one. and right next to each other, and I believe
I saw his secret, (he kept twitching his line, but would stop when Speckanator happened to turn and look his way)....
I got home and the wife had eggs/bacon/grits/biscuits/gravy ready and waiting as I walked in the door totally wore out.
I engulfed that stuff and it was just like eating a sleeping pill, I told her "I'm going to lay down for awhile" and away I went ......
Now, waiting for it to warm up and got to get out there and clean fish......
Was a good time but sure wore me out, I think this "old age" thing might be creeping up on me ....
Thanks for good times Chucker and Shu and Speckanator .....

Wanted a night trip but maybe today is the day. Fish are cleaned, most of the donuts are gone and under orders to fry some fish, again thanks for a great trip.--shuAttachment 226741

Looks like yall had a pretty good day of bed raiding. Looks like around 10 in your cooler Shu and yall give 25 to Danny. 35 take in a morning! Busy trip.
Wasn't a bed it was just a bunch of feeders that eventually moved out....the area we fished was about 30' x 40'Quote:
