Only going to pay out 2 positions.
40% big fish
40% 3 fish total - (thats kinda different must touraments are 7)
Looks by entry forum - could load the pontoon up with 20 people at $25.00 per copy
plus big fish -
25 ft jon boat same way - kinda hard on air boat - mostly 3 -4 if its a big one...........
No sour grapes met - I personally know very little if anything about these people.
They are on East side of state and this is first time i have seen anything about
them.
Got into the Charity thing with United Way out of Sarasota 2 yr ago - being run
by a Sarasota Bass Club. (Treated the crappie folks like crap) we were to fish
LAKE PARRISH - $375.00 PER BOAT OF 2 PEOPLE - PLUS I BLIEVE ANOTHER $75.00
THIRD PERSON - $10.00 BIG FISH FOR CRAPPIE WITH 50% PAYOUT. BASS PEOPLE
GOT 100% PAY OUT ON BIG FISH.
3 POSITIONS I BELIEVE PAID ON BASS - ZIP ON CRAPPIE.
DAY WE FISHED IT - WIND WAS HOWLING AT 30 -35MPH OUT OF THE NORTH,
OVER THE DYKE WALLS INTO SHALLOW 8,000 -4-5 FT LAKE -
I WAS OWNER OF 18.5 PROCRAFT BASS BOAT - AND WAS TOSSED AROUND
LIKE A BB IN BOXCAR. WENT OUT INTO LAKE - CHECKED IT OUT AND CAME
BACK TO DOCK - TOTAL TIME MAYBE 1 HR - ASKED IF COULD HAVE RAINCHECK
FOR NEXT EVENT BECAUSE OF WEATHER - WAS TOLD TO HAVE A GOOD DAY.
ONCE I LEFT THE COVER OF CANAL TO LAKE - ALL BETS WERE OFF -
CANAL TO LAKE WAS DOWN 25'IN GROUND, A LITTLE WINDING FOR 1/2 MI
THAN YOU HIT THE LAKE ON VERY SOUTH END - AFTER WIND HAD 1 MI TO
PICK UP STEAM.
AGAIN - THIS DOG IS NOT IN THE HUNT - JUST MAKING MY THOUGHTS
SHOWN.

Blue Cypress is a good lake. It can be hard to fish sometimes. lot of stumps around the edge. lake has little conture, not much for dropoffs. I fish it a few times a year with mixed resoltes. don`t fish stick marsh any more too meny boats zippin around. the boat ramp can get hecktic but vary entertaining. It is flooded grove and pasture with some cannels, if you know the place it`s not bad, if you don`t idle around till ya do. lot of props and lower units are trashed there. bait shop at Blue Cypress ramp, I herd mr Middlton passed, so not sure if it`s sill open. I`m on a big job now but if I get off I may try and make it.
It is surely still open being ran by his wife from what I've seen on their Facebook page! Thanks for the info capnkangaroo!! Fishin813 my dad and uncles use to fish Parrish A lot back in the day for BIG catfish from the stories I've herd it was at one time a pretty awesome place!
What does Lake Parrish have to do with Stickmarsh? I am sure this tournament will get a good draw from the locals down south.
Was just comparing the tournaments that "Charity Style" events come on with.
The Parrish event is very expensive for a one day shot at private water.
the IRCAA - which i have no idea of who they are or what they represent - nor
could i find anything on Internet - come from out of nowhere on East Coast -
I would rather spend charitable money on programs closer to our part of the state.
The Parrish event never did finish other its expensive - $375 - 450.00 to
fish it - max of 100 boats. Only payouts come from "fruit jar" deal - and if you
were a bass group it was 100% handed out (1 winner) If a crappie group - 50% was
out - rest went to Bass Group doing the tournament for the "United Way"
$37,500 pretty good take for i day with all volunteer help except paid people of
United Way.
Bottom line Mike - just running my mouth, found out it is the lower jaw that moves.
Kinda got off on wrong tangent - went to far left field.
Can I fish this tournament in a kayak? And do you have to be a member of a club or is it open to all thanks for your time
