I did real good last year at oak hill. Waiting for some cold fronts to get them moving. I did hear there was a couple decent days at Haulover a few weeks ago. HC has been real hit or miss for me, mainly miss. I prefer Oak Hill. I used to like the RR Bridge but that's been dead for 2 years, relatively.

Hey Danny, went for sheepshead (or whatever) Saturday Dave caught one and I only caught 3 small mangroves in 8 hours of fishing. Took me 6 hours to catch my first fish. We kept fishing hoping the tide change would help.......no good. I think the waters too warm yet. Ain't this some crap got 4 days off this week and the fishing is slow oh well I guess I should just be thankful I can still go and don't have to be at worrkkkkk.
Keep thinking about our shrimpin trip to hc I think we did pretty well that night, had fun too...............

Not too much work or gear to go. A couple of wide nets (oak hill hardware have them) and some lights. Start at oak hill or Edgewater on a high tide dropping and follow the tide as needed. Some nights off the charts, other nights 20.

Danny I have not been on the shrimp yet, have seen many boats tryin & no one is fillin the bucket yet.

Went out for flounder Sunday night & did not find any, the run may be over & was prolly short due to the warmer winter.

I will be back out again in the next couple days, let ya know if I find any.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
