Thread: Talquin (Slabfest Practice)

Went to Talquin to practice before Slabfest (really to clean the Camper) and went out fishing in the morning. The fish were scattered......scattered.....scattered. In other words, they were not gathered up and they were tight to timber. I caught about 10-15 keepers each morning. The weather was nice and water temps from 74 to 80 degrees in the afternoon. Hope for cooler temps before too long. Best colors are in the fishes mouth. Pony's worked pretty good.
