Florida Fishing Report Goat Island, Hontoon Dead River

Well it sure been a long spell. Spent the last 3 weekends painting house
Made it out to the river this morning, headed to Hontoon Dead river and they been spraying weeds heavily in there and it stunk. Back out and around to Goat island. Saw this really cool Heron, assuming a young Blue, but it was white and gray sorry for crappy phone pics but all I had. Ended up catching a pile of shellcrackers, gills and warmouth. Kept 11 fer supper tomorrow. All caught on panfish magnets in less than 3' of water.
when I pulled out the ramp Tow Boat US was there doing complimentary safety inspections, got mine done and a sticker on boat. Hope yall all have a great weekend.
