Yesterday I fished the Griffin Slabfest and won. Took 6.5 hours to catch 5 legal fish the day after a 26 degree cold front came through. What a difference a day is.

We caught 5 nice ones in less than 45 minutes. Shoulda taken mom with yesterday!

Best day ever. Got mom out on the boat, and we caught our Slabfest limit in 45 minutes. What more can one ask for.

She's funny. First off, she never thought she'd go out on the boat again, and now she's in front of me saying "we go once more". She says this time she won't take her water pill in the morning. We had to come in so soon cause of, well, you know why.

Life is good.
