    Default Cold!

I know it's supposed to get cold down here (especially tomorrow night) but my daughters keep reminding me about what's going on in the North Woods this time of year.

I sure do not miss this stuff. Some might think it's pretty, but it's makes the hairs on my neck stand!

My back goes out even when I see a snow shovel!

I can't remember all the times I've fallen on the ice and snow. The falls seem to be harder the older I get.

I hate having to replace the gears in the garage door cause they tear up when it get cold and the door gets stuck the the concrete.

No more having to swap out the summer tires for winter snow tires.

No more scraping the window off cause wifey's car would always be the one in the garage while mine sat frozen outside.

No more frozen door locks on the car. No more wasting gas warming the car up. Oooh, there's so much more "no more" winter stuff. Got to love Florida.

Well put, I live in Va. and still have a little Ice scraping but not like it was in PA. Now being in FL for 3 months the last few years is great, good weather, good friends and a bonus GREAT fishing.

Can't think of any reason that anyone is left there to take a picture.

Knowing what the weekend was bringing I took advantage of a little time out of the truck and a beautiful afternoon. My guest took his limit home for the freezer(15) and mine still swim. Have to work in the early morning and drive north toward Cincy, not looking forward to it but the dogs need kibble. I don't miss driving in the rough stuff this year either, did enough in recent past to last me a while. Stay there til May Slab.

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Thanks. Got to go back up tomorrow, and with the bad stuff coming it should be a real treat. I'll take it easy and park when it gets bad.
