    Headed to Crescent next week from North Carolina. First time on lake for me. Staying at Georgia Boy's Fish camp. Be there Monday thru Friday. Will be with a friend from Ga. in a camo Triton. If you see us give us a shout. Also, any info y'all can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Was there today, got blown off the lake, only caught one. Could not fish anywhere except downwind of the island.

    We only fished maybe 2 hours this afternoon with only a few fish. Going to a different spot tomorrow. Heard a good report from the canal area at Dead Lake from one of the guys from the SC Board that is down here.

    Thanks guys. TnT, I noticed you are from Cochran. The buddy I am going with is from Hawkinsville and I am originally from Macon/Warner Robins. Relocated to NC with B&W/RJR merger.

    I was born and raised in WR. Graduated WRHS in '78. I am guessing you know Verle Wolfe up there. He also relocated with B&W when they closed up in Macon. Grew up with him and his brothers and sister. I may know you or your buddy in H'ville.

    Look for Ranger with 2 fishermen and dog.......that be hooker and Little.......probably recognize us by seeing lots of fish caught......

    Know Verle real well. He was a lead mechanic also.
